Data Cleansing Analyst (student worker position)

Background

We are looking for a student worker to deliver high quality accommodation (mainly hotel) content. You will be responsible for ensuring and improving the accuracy of accommodation information presented to our users.

Responsibilities

The data cleansing analyst will be part of a new accommodation data team, which will be in charge of ensuring that the accommodation content we offer our users is the very best quality. Your task will be to make sure that accommodation content gathered from a wide-range of suppliers is successfully matched, meets a set of quality standards, and is categorised according to product needs, providing a large selection of high quality content for momondo.

Specifically, the Data Cleansing Analyst will:

  • Manually match accommodation flagged for review by the matching system. Ensure the quality and accuracy of all accommodation data, including images, address and location data, descriptions, amenities and categories
  • Investigate and resolve specific content quality issues, integrating missing accommodation information where needed. Report issues to ensure that we drive suppliers to manage and increase the quality of content, in order to reduce the effort required to match and clean any data
  • Highlight improvements to the matching process and take part in addressing these to deliver a higher quality process

The minimum working hours per week are 12 to 15. You can work from home, but you must join us at the headquarters on Strøget in Copenhagen for some training and for some follow up sessions. Salary: 125 DKK/hour (gross).

Skills and background

As this is a student position, you must be studying a data or travel related subject (preferably), at university. You must also be:

  • A passionate person who loves to focus on details and care about delivering high quality data through your work
  • Happy doing a repetitive task in front of a screen
  • Good at rolling up your sleeves and getting the job done

Marketing manager Italy

We’re looking for an experienced marketing manager who can help us to grow our online channels in Italy. You will be involved in all aspects of marketing and will become an integral part of driving our expansion and future success in Italy.

Responsibilities

You will report to the head of markets for South Europe and LATAM, and work closely with the Italian SEO executive. You will be given growth targets for our investment and revenue goals, and will be responsible for marketing activities and for growing our presence via a wide range of activities, such as:

Mobile app CRM & content marketing trainee (global)

We are looking for a global app marketing trainee who will share responsibility for CRM and content marketing activities across paid and owned media for our app. You will help improve discoverability for new users through engaging content campaigns and increase loyalty amongst our existing users via one-on-one activities in order to increase sales and grow our app. You will be involved in all aspects of app marketing, primarily responsible for non-paid activities, and will become an integral part of driving the expansion and future international success of our app.

This full-time training lasts six months and serves as an introduction to digital, mobile app marketing and momondo.

With mobile app marketing being relatively new to the marketing field, the training will primarily consist of learning-by-doing, combined with a theoretical online marketing foundation. You will be working closely with a line of experienced and specialised online marketing managers, who will help make you a mobile app marketing expert. This hands-on approach offers a great opportunity for you to evolve professionally and personally in one of the fastest growing areas of marketing – not only in momondo, but in the industry. We are looking for a web tester for a key role within our web teams. The position will involve testing our web sites and helping the team find ways to improve the quality of our web applications.

Responsibilities

You are keenly interested in software quality and have good insights into software processes, web technologies and coding for testing purposes. You’ll be joining a great QA team, all of whom are willing to help, teach and learn, and provide support whenever you need it.

Russian marketing and communications student assistant

Responsibilities

This is an attractive position in a creative and highly international company where things are always evolving. You’ll be based in our main office in Copenhagen and will be working with the Russian market. User experience designer

We are looking for an energetic and passionate user experience designer with experience in developing intelligent and delightful user-centred solutions for both app and web.

Responsibilites

As our new user experience designer you will work hands-on, producing wireframes, flow diagrams, prototypes and specifications. You should be proficient in the latest tools to research and design your solutions, be comfortable presenting and always implement best usability practice.

You will work alongside a talented UX team and multiple groups across the business, including the executives, to solve complex user problems and needs that fit within the business framework.

You will work primarily with product owners, responding to feature requests, defining user needs and generating ideas for product enhancements to solve those needs. You should have experience working with an Agile methodology and be inspired by working collaboratively with designers and engineers.

Skills and background

  • 6+ years of relevant on-the-job experience
  • Evidence in designing user centred, imaginative and realistic solutions
  • Proficient in using any modern tool and methodology to communicate your solutions Axure, Creative Suite, Sketch, Marvel, Swift etc.
  • You have experience in analysing qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions
  • You are experienced in generating user stories, gathering requirements and ensuring design solutions are understood by designers, engineers and stakeholders
  • You love taking initiative to solve problems and pitches in to help out others
  • Full understanding of common interaction patterns for desktop web, mobile web, iOS and Android platforms
  • Possess the skills to coherently present, share and sell in ideas within the business
  • Enjoy working collaboratively (Agile and Scrum) with design, development, QA and product optimisation from development to release and beyond
  • You have some experience in planning and conducting user tests. Ranging from guerrilla testing, remote usability testing, and lab based testing
