Marketing Controller

Momondo is looking for a marketing controller who can analyze the marketing performance in detail and be a decisive factor in optimizing spend across different channels and markets. Your primary role will be to look at ROI’s daily and make sure that performance is according to agreed targets. Secondly you will provide recommendations for corrective actions to optimize.

As a person you have an extreme eye for details and enjoy working with and analyzing fact-based marketing performance. Ideally you have a degree within the field of marketing, business or finance and you have solid experience working with search engine marketing and ROI optimization in an international context. Experience with analysis of Offline marketing effects will be considered a strong plus. Currently you might be working in consulting and are ready for the next challenge. Or you have experience from an online company and would like to join a truly global online company operating in an “extreme business environment”.

You will be based in Copenhagen, report to the Head of BI & Markets and work closely with the entire momondo organization in DK and UK.

Responsibilites

  • Daily controlling of marketing performance – especially SEM
  • Analyze marketing effectiveness and performance across all channels and markets to optimize ROI
  • Develop scenarios and identify best opportunities for our Global Marketing efforts
  • Take a key role in the fulfillment of momondo’s growing need for data driven insights
  • Be a pivotal part of driving momondo’s profitable marketing strategy

Skills and background

  • Strong understanding of marketing ROI using different attribution models, especially from a SEM perspective
  • Well-developed analytical skills, with the ability to extract a clear and concise story from numbers and turn this into actionable initiatives
  • Expert in Google Analytics and Google Adwords
  • Business understanding
  • Self-starter who is hungry to take the initiative but also willing to collaborate to elevate the success of a team
  • English on Business level, preferable also Danish on Business level but not a must
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting deadlines
  • High energy, strong work ethic, willingness to do "whatever it takes" to get to the results
  • Mental flexibility, including ability to dive very deep into details of the data (e.g., to ensure data quality) but also ability to see the big picture and take smart shortcuts where appropriate

International Sales Manager

momondo is looking for a person that masters supplier management. You thrive in a challenging, “extreme business” environment where you never know what tasks a new day brings. Finally, you are very result-orientated, and enjoy working on multiple tasks at the same time and do so without losing focus.

This is an attractive position in a creative and highly international company, where things are always evolving. You’ll be based in our main office on Strøget in Copenhagen reporting to the Head of Sales and working closely with our dedicated and brilliant team of marketing and operations experts.

Responsibilites

  • Full responsibility of your market and supplier portfolio
  • Ensure a local product which is best in class, coverage and price-wise
  • Establish good relationship with key players in your markets
  • Drive quality control from a user perspective on all platforms (web and mobile)
  • Constantly keep track of supplier performance and engage with suppliers to improve the revenue stream & user experience Establish good relationship with key players in your markets
  • Initiate new commission models and bring them to market by terminating old agreements and closing new agreements – this is an ever changing landscape
  • Negotiate with new suppliers – renegotiate with existing suppliers

  • Act on feedback from users when required

Skills and background

  • Minimum of a bachelor degree
  • 2+ year experience as Online Sales Manager with international portfolio or similar job
  • Flair for numbers
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Fluent written and oral English is required and knowledge of other languages is an advantage
  • Experienced Microsoft Office user
  • At home with insights into online flight ticket business, including tracking of sales is an advantage

  • Capable of interacting with a wide range of functions and personalities across the company and suppliers (from tech guys to marketing guys to users)

Senior Campaign Builder

momondo is looking for the person who can help us take the momondo user experience to the next level, by building and maintaining automated email campaigns in Responsys. You will also be responsible for CRM reporting in close corporation with our Global CRM Manager, our BI unit, and our CRM agency.

You have experience in CRM campaign building, reporting, and BI.

You will be based in Copenhagen, report to Global Head of Marketing Strategy & Campaigns, Per Christiansen, and work closely with the entire momondo organization in DK and UK.

Responsibilites

  • Implementing automated trigger campaigns in Responsys
  • CRM reporting on campaign performance in ROI, NPS, and life time value on a global and local level
  • Identify opportunities and challenges in trigger flows

Skills and background

  • You have a degree within the field of statistics, mathematics, marketing, business, or finance
  • CRM experience from previous work with databases, SQL programming, and preferably Responsys
  • Strong business understanding with a passion for moving business via triggers

We are therefore now looking forward to expanding our presence into new and existing markets, and are looking for new online marketing managers with local language competencies.

You will become part of an international team consisting of 100 of Denmark’s most talented developers, content managers, and marketing managers. Our employees take great pride in their work and in becoming the best within their area of expertise – We would of course expect the same of you.

Areas of Expertise

You will become responsible for all online marketing efforts in your country, and for growing momondo’s online presence in this upcoming, but very competitive market. You will be given monthly budgets and monthly growth targets that you are expected to achieve. We expect you to manage the following online marketing activities:

  • Search Marketing (Google and Bing)
  • Display marketing
  • Affiliate networks
  • Online video marketing (YouTube)
  • Promotion of momondo’s App
  • Mobile marketing to our mobile site

Besides managing the online marketing activities, we expect you to maintain the daily activities of a Country Manager. We prioritize candidates with the following skills:

  • Strong leadership abilities
  • Strong communication and sales skills
  • Understanding for online and offline branding campaigns
  • Management of large country budgets
  • Understanding for PR activities and communication with journalists
  • Experience with management of social activities and campaigns

Requirements
